News

The annual board event hosted by the Community Foundation Alliance of Calhoun County Board of Trustees highlighted partnerships, programs, accomplishments, and visions for Calhoun County.  It proved to be a great success with 76 in attendance.  Featured presentations highlighted our countywide efforts.  The event opened with a clip from the WGVU documentary including Albion, Athens, Battle Creek, Homer, and Marshall foundations.  Presenters included Dwight Butt , Calhoun County Convention & Visitors Bureau; Teresa Durham,  Nonprofit Alliance; Tom Garnett, Calhoun County Trailway Alliance; Charlie Robertson, Arts & Industry Council.  Also highlighted was the Homer Gap Program coordinated by Holly Blashfield; the MSU Extension 4-H Creative and Expressive Art Program coordinated by Sherry Grice.
